What does the Salesforce Spring Release mean for Marketing Cloud?

While it is still technically winter, the Salesforce Spring ’21 release has arrived with a wide range of new tools and features. Let’s take a look at some of the newest features that will be available across Marketing Cloud.

AMP for Email:

Whether they are completing a survey, leaving you feedback, getting an order status update, or responding to an invitation to an event your customers can now interact directly with messages in their inbox! This new feature offers real-time, interactive content and data and enables marketers to create highly personalised email experiences. You can learn more about this new feature here.

Datorama Reports for Marketing Cloud:

This brand embedded analytics experience enables your marketing team to manage personalised marketing at scale, allowing you to deliver relevant and cross channel experiences throughout every step of the customer lifecycle. In order to do this, the reports allow you to analyse email and journey performance with pre-built, filterable marketing dashboards, build customised reports, and show the value of campaigns through analytics you can schedule and share across your organisation and export to any location. You can learn more about this new feature here.

WhatsApp chat messaging:

This new chat messaging feature allows you to send transactional and session messages to your customers with WhatsApp, the world’s most popular messaging channel! Customers expect brands to communicate with them on the same platforms they communicate with their friends and family and this new feature will allow your organisation to do just. Once provisioned this feature will allow you to use Content and Journey Builder to personalise and send messages to your audience. You can learn more about this new feature here.
