MuleSoft CONNECT is back! Today is one of the world’s leading MuleSoft integration events of the year, bringing together thought leaders and practitioners from across IT and the business. This year’s attendees will learn how to accelerate business outcomes using the latest innovations and trends in integration. If you weren’t able to attend, don’t worry, we’ve rounded up the highlights so you can be sure you haven’t missed anything:
Anypoint DataGraph to Accelerate delivery speed:
MuleSoft has introduced DataGraph to the Anypoint Platform, a new tool for streamlining API requests. Developers can now instantly discover, access, and serve data from multiple existing APIs with a single GraphQL query, without having to write any additional code. This saves developers the work of having to write multiple API requests. The new Anypoint DataGraph will now allow customers across industries to create composable business capabilities and deliver seamless digital experiences faster.
What is Graph QL?
GraphQL is an Open Source API specification used for querying data across different APIs. The brilliant thing about this is that the API Client tells the GraphQL layer what it needs using a GraphQL specification, and the API returns it.
Wait, isn’t that just OData? No, GraphQL is not just OData: check out this article to understand the key differences:
Rest API can be automatically converted in GraphQL Interfaces by using Anypoint DataGraph, while adding object relationships and primary keys for the GraphQL Interface.
To demonstrate the value of this tool, MuleSoft recently surveyed 800 IT leaders for its Connectivity Benchmark Report. Respondents from nine out every 10 companies said integration challenges were hindering their digital transformation efforts. The Anypoint DataGraph is MuleSoft’s solution to that nearly universal problem!
The Anypoint DataGraph will become generally available in May 2021.
